Walked the neighborhood for the first time in quite a while after reading some Stoicism philosophy.  Combined a quote with a picture I took on my walk.  

Had a couple of waffles before my walk and some oatmeal with additives afterward.   

Made more efforts to finish the back bed and make a dent in the Sable #2 bed with removal of another large bucket of lava rocks (ended the day with two buckets collected).  One more bucket and this bed is done!

Expecting pool renovation contractor to be here on Monday to install pump, etc.  Perhaps remove the old gas heater.  

Now that electrical power has been restored to the GFCI outlet, decided to attached the flow helping rock and begin the cleanup of the basin.  Will need about 24 hours for the rock to fully set. Still looking at pumps and will decide soon (need to check fittings for the connecting hose).

 

And Max is by my side as I clear a bed.  

Had potato soup plus a little yogurt and fruit.  Since weight keeps dropping, I am eating more often.  Starting to get anxious about Wednesday's surgery ... can't help it.  

Just glad to make another day.  😊
