Well, have hit 24 hours plus since this titanium puck was inserted into my chest along with this unsightly tubing just below the skin.  Still uncomfortable and a bit sore.  Uneasy is a better word choice ... can't look at!

Nancy from Montgomery Surgical Specialists called to check on me.  I expressed my apologies for being a bad patient and to thank all the professionals that helped me.  

Began to get active in pushing the next steps.  After touching base with UAB, the doc called to discuss next steps.  After a brief exchange in my frustration, he requested I come in tomorrow for blood work (kidneys) and weight.  This is needed for chemo to start.  We discussed the Guardant360 report ... I don't fall in the 4-5% for the latest therapies. So, after I do labs,  I have an appointment with a PA at 1030.  Dawn is driving and believe her being there will help.  She needs to see the layout as well as get a better understanding of what is to come and what I'm facing.  

Played phone roulette with 42 MDG.  At least I know now my case manager is out on quarantine.  Hope no issues with him or family. But have yet to hear back on my request to verify chemo is covered on referral. 

No changes on pool renovation. I swapped out the covers on 3 of 4 outdoor receptacles as the old one needed replaced.  

Tried to take a nap, but Max was hungry ... he won.  

Dawn is juicing and the pain killers have hit.   Very tired and need respite from the stress and drama.
